The Assistant Construction Superintendent assist the Construction Superintendent with the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities. The position reports to the Construction Superintendent for the duration of the project. As the Assistant Superintendent, your daily activities will cover a broad range of responsibilities as required by the project and directed by the Lead Superintendent for the project. A listing of some of these responsibilities is provided below. This includes maintaining the highest level of safety and quality, supervising all trade and field personnel and producing and maintaining project records and reporting.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing all corporate safety procedures
• Ability to assist with leading project teams and provide training to Certified Installers
• Project documentation of daily on-site activities, schedule updates, e-mail correspondence and other activities necessary  
• Conducting and/or attending pre-construction, progress and other necessary meetings
• Participation in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring work is installed per the plans and specifications and all quality procedures are implemented
• Communicating job expectations with ownership, general contractors and subcontractors
• Generating and managing to production schedules
• Jobsite inventory control of materials
• Construction site safety experience and knowledge. OSHA-30 certification
• The successful candidate will have 1 - 5 years onsite construction experience
• Experience with project management on large scale multi-unit construction projects
• Experience with wood framing construction and drywall installation preferred
• Self-starter, dependable, deadline-driven, punctual, and respects other people’s time Requirements
• B.S. with a focus on Construction Management (or construction related curriculum) or equivalent experience plus 1 - 5 years construction site experience
• Ability to travel is a requirement of the position and will typically last the duration of the project
